PlanBe for Skiathos and WIFI4EU

The Municipality of Skiathos is one of the 90 Greek Municipalities that succeeded in the second WiFi4EU competition and now proudly offers free internet access to residents and visitors. Wi-Fi access points cover the old and new port of Skiathos. Their placement has been carefully selected to serve both residents and visitors. The installation also includes network expansion infrastructure in smart applications for the total digital transformation of the port. The WiFi4EU network was installed by PlanBe in partnership with Cisco in less than a month and became operational on January 2, 2020.
